2 Secret Toes?!?

I don't mean to freak you out....but x-rays show that elephants have SIX toes! Apparently, a couple just don't have nails. BTW, also seems they are always standing on their tippy-toes like a ballerina. Who knew?

Anywho, people often keep parts of their personal experiences to themselves which influence their well-being. We provide a safe place for either type of secret to be discussed and altered.

Trauma is when a threatening experience changes someone's sense of self, others, the world, safety, and more in a negative way that they cannot escape. While ideas formed during that experience may have been helpful then, once the threat is gone, they sadly end up protecting people from living a full life rather than protecting them from danger. These thoughts can be unlearned when no longer helpful.

Real Humanity

In a world where everything seems to be prettied up for public consumption, many people feel that some of their thoughts are horrifying and make them terrible people. That can happen, sure. But for most folks, they are just the normal terrible that all people are. A less judgmental environment allows them to more accurately assess and compare their internal world to the real world.
